Retama Equine Hospital has been serving the equine community since 1997. Many of the equine clients were in need of veterinary care for animals other than their horses. When you have horses, there’s usually a working dog and at least one barn cat in toe which is how the Retama Equine Small Animal Division was born.
Our Quality Pet Care
Dr. Knowlton joined the Small Animal Division in May of 2012. Her passion and love for animals combined with her veterinary skills has won over the hearts of pet owners all over the area. As the small animal division outgrew the space and recognizing the need for a veterinarian in the growing city of Cibolo, the owners at Retama Equine Hospital decided to find space for the small animal part of the practice to move to Cibolo. In May 2014, we opened our doors as Cibolo Small Animal Hospital! Dr. Cochran, who had previously worked for Retama Equine Hospital, joined us in September 2014.
